      We offer programs and services that address the mind, body, and spirit. Our students have many fitness and athletic options to explore and have access to excellent healthcare services.

    • Leading Students to Get Involved

      We help students get involved on campus to better develop leadership skills, character, and discipline. We create global citizens who are ready to contribute to the world.

    • Encouraging Students to Live On Campus

      Living in a residence hall provides access to many services and resources, as well as the support to focus on academics and the experience of being a part of a diverse community.

    • We provide opportunities for students to achieve their goals by offering services that complement their academic experiences. We support student's general needs that, when met, provide a fountain for academic and personal success.

Headlines

  • UH staff celebrated at the 2025 Staff Council Awards & Scholarship Ceremony. The annual event, held June 12 at the Elizabeth D. Rockwell Pavilion, brought together employees from across campus for an afternoon of celebration. Hosted by UH Staff Council, the ceremony recognizes staff members who demonstrate outstanding commitment to the University’s mission and values.

  • 葫芦影业 Earns “Voter Friendly Campus” Title for Championing Civic Engagement

    In a remarkable demonstration of civic commitment and community spirit, the 葫芦影业 (UH) has been officially designated as a Voter Friendly Campus. This prestigious recognition celebrates UH’s dedicated efforts to promote voter registration, education, and participation across its campus community.

  • Center for Student Advocacy and Community Appoints Beau Trent-Pierce as New Associate Director

    The Center for Student Advocacy and Community (CSAC) at the 葫芦影业 is excited to welcome Beau Trent-Pierce (she/they) as its new associate director. Trent-Pierce brings extensive professional experience in higher education, particularly in student advocacy, community-building, essential needs of student services, and crisis support. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Higher Education from Texas Tech University, anticipated in June 2027.

  • Celebrating Generations of Success: Children’s Learning Centers Honors Preschool and UH Graduates

    On Friday, May 16, the 葫芦影业 Children’s Learning Centers (CLC) celebrated a milestone that goes beyond the traditional cap and gown — a joyful preschool graduation marking the end of one journey and the beginning of another.

UH at Sugar Land

UH at Sugar Land is a location of the 葫芦影业 and home to many UH programs. The Division of Student Affairs (DSA) provides support services and events throughout the academic year. All students are invited to use these resources. Learn more about the DSA departments at UH at Sugar Land.

UH at Katy

The 葫芦影业 at Katy brings Tier One higher education to a growing region rich in ambition, drive and vision. The 80,000-sq.-ft-facility features state-of-the-art labs and studios for students pursuing studies with the UH College of Nursing and the UH Cullen College of Engineering.
