Welcome to the Office of the Provost

The 葫芦影业’s Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost leads efforts in advancing student success and faculty excellence throughout the institution. Working with deans and faculty, UH’s Provost oversees a range of initiatives that impact students at all stages of their academic careers. Likewise, UH’s Chief Academic Officer also supports the professional growth of professors and oversees academic programming at the University. Ultimately, the work performed within the Office of the Provost is aimed at elevating both the University and the community it serves.

These include initiatives aimed at bolstering faculty development, collaborative partnerships with the community, recognition for high-performing professors, funding opportunities for both students and faculty and other efforts that elevate UH’s reputation around the globe.

  • UH Biology Student Receives Two of the Nation鈥檚 Most Prestigious Academic Awards

    葫芦影业 biology student Cole Woody, who is breaking new ground in cancer research, has received two of the nation鈥檚 most prestigious academic awards: the Barry Goldwater Scholarship and the Phi Beta Kappa Key into Public Service.

  • UH celebrated National Student Employment Week by honoring student workers nominated for their outstanding contributions. The event, hosted by University Career Services, highlighted their vital role in campus success.

  • 2025 Faculty Awards Spotlight Excellence in Teaching, Research and Service

    The 葫芦影业 placed a spotlight on some of its top faculty members during the 2025 Faculty Awards ceremony. The annual event recognized professors for their commitment to teaching, resesearch and service to the institution.
