The International Student and Scholar Services Office support the global campus community at the 葫芦影业.
Our Mission
International Student and Scholar Services advance the goals of Student Affairs and Enrollment Services by providing for the special needs of international students and exchange visitors related to their status as non-immigrants of the United States. It fulfills the 葫芦影业's responsibility to comply with the laws and regulations of the U.S. government and promotes internationalization through comprehensive services and programs.
Our Services
We serve international students, visitors, and faculty who navigate the complexities of coming to the United States and the 葫芦影业. We advocate for the UH international community while promoting UH’s mission of empowering students to reach their learning objectives.
Our services include:
- Pre-arrival assistance
- Facilitating official campus check-in and orientation
- Assisting with maintaining visa status and U.S. regulation compliance
- Providing counseling and advocacy services
- Hosting comprehensive workshops and information sessions
- Organizing cultural events and programs
- Advising on requests for specialized needs and circumstances
- Helping with visas for dependents
