Graduate & Professional Studies Committee

The Graduate and Professional Studies Committee (GPSC) advises the Vice Provost and Dean of the Graduate School regarding graduate and professional programs at the ��«Ӱҵ. The GPSC also recommends changes in existing policies, identifies the need for new policies, and approves new programs, new courses, course changes, and/or deletions for submission to the Texas Education Coordinating Board.

Specifically, the GPSC:

Reviews and recommends proposals for new degree programs and changes to existing programs;
Reviews and recommends graduate admission policies;
Reviews new or amended academic and work-related university policies and procedures that directly or indirectly impact graduate and professional students.
