Dear UH Community, After serving five years as dean of the 葫芦影业 C. T. Bauer College of Business, Paul Pavlou will depart to lead the Miami Herbert Business School at the University of Miami effective July 1. An interim dean will soon be announced. We wish him well on this new opportunity and are grateful for his service to both the college and UH. Pavlou has held the title of Cullen Distinguished Chair Professor and has played a key role in the college’s upward trajectory. Under his leadership, its profile has continued to rise with consecutive No. 1 rankings for its Melvyn and Cyvia Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship among other achievements. Although Dean Pavlou departs us, I am confident that the college’s faculty, staff and students will keep it moving toward new levels of success and international recognition.
